The Port of Dover is proud to work together with some of the leading suppliers in the market to deliver seamless, smart and sustainable port services to our customers. As critical national infrastructure, the Port of Dover requires supply chain partners who are operating at the top of their game and share our passion for customer service and continuous improvement.​

To effectively and efficiently operate the port, we regularly source contract requirements for a broad range of goods, services and works. Our main categories include:​

  • port operational goods and services, such as PPE and facilities management services​
  • marine services and equipment, such as vessels and port handling machinery​
  • engineering services and equipment, such as maintenance and asset spares​
  • business support services, such as legal and professional services​
  • requirements for construction projects (civil, building, mechanical and electrical)​
  • requirements for IT projects, such as network infrastructure equipment and digital development services​

Dover Harbour Board owns and operates the Port of Dover, and we are designated a Private Utility within the scope of the Procurement Act 2023. This means we publish our contract opportunities, and we are committed to managing our competitive procurement processes with integrity and transparency.​
