The Dover Marina team will be at the Southampton Boat show in September showcasing its world-leading facilities, exceptional customer service and the endless opportunities that the new Marina brings to leisure users and wider communities across the world.
With dramatic views across Dover’s iconic coastline, inspiring culture starting at the doorstep of the Garden of England, plus an unrivalled location as the closest marina to Europe with excellent transport links to London, Dover Marina is the place to be.
Chris Windsor, Marina Manager at the Port of Dover said:
“We are in the most exciting phase of the Marina’s history. Our new facility provides world class travel to a vibrant yacht, boating and leisure community and attracts tourists from across the nation and beyond through incredible new visitor experiences.”
“The surrounding recreational areas of the Marina Curve and Clocktower Square are at the heart of our revived waterfront and sit alongside world famous cruise ships, making it the best place to explore the UK coast and the ideal base for berth holders.”
“Whether you want to stay ashore to experience the beauty of Kent and the bustling city life in London, or explore European coastal hotspots across the Channel, we have it all. We look forward to seeing you at the Show!”
As well as the Outer Marina, which opened in April this year, the team have been working on many other new features including a hard standing and level boatyard with large capacity for maintenance and repairs, a dedicated fuelling station and a new marina office. The next stage of the re-development is to re-open Wellington Dock to provide even more capacity and berths.
The Dover team looks forward to meeting guests at the Show to exchange ideas and thoughts about all aspects of the new Marina development. Further information and stand details will follow soon.
