Bascule Bridge Closed for Maintenance – Wednesday 27th April 05:30 – 08:00hrs
The Bascule Bridge will be closed to all traffic and pedestrians on Wednesday 27th April 05:30 – 08:00hrs for scheduled maintenance to be completed.
Traffic diversion routes will be in force;
Eastbound
Union Street, A20 East to Ferry Terminal, A20 West, Marine Parade or Wellesley Road.
Westbound
Wellesley Road, A20 West, Union Street.
A signed pedestrian diversion route will be utilised using the walkways across the lock gates.
