Media access for Brexit coverage
Due to national COVID restrictions and the additional measures attached to Kent being in Tier 4, there will be no media access to the Port’s operational areas throughout the Christmas and New Year period.
31st December/1st January – we are not expecting any visual changes for media to report on as there will continue to be no/minimal tourist traffic due to COVID-19 and freight volumes will be minimal due to it being a bank holiday and pre-Christmas stockpiling.
A a small selection of media interviews will be arranged for further into the New Year from 4th January onwards.
For those that have registered interest, the Port’s media team will be in touch if we are able to organise an interview.
*Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, all interviews will need to take place virtually or outside if absolutely necessary.
