The Port is delighted to announce that Peter Wright from Saga PLC will join as Head of Cruise, to drive the Port’s ambitious growth plans and deliver a fantastic future of world class travel and visitor experiences in Dover for its portfolio of cruise lines.
Currently Commercial Director at Saga Cruises, Peter will lead the team from October 2023, taking the baton from Sonia Limbrick who will be stepping back gradually after eight years at the Port.

Peter brings over 20 years of experience within the cruise and wider travel sector and coming from a local and long-established strategic partner, he will be instrumental in positioning Dover Cruise as a highlight of the newly revived waterfront and the Kent Cruise Partnership.
As well as being a fantastic local recreational hub with the Marina Curve and Clocktower Square, the Dover Waterfront brings communities together from across the nation and globally with a brand-new marina sitting alongside world famous cruise ships.
