Port Re-Opens to Shipping Following High Winds Earlier in the Day
The Port of Dover is now open to shipping and some ferry services have resumed. The Port was temporarily closed to shipping due to adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Eunice and concerns over customer and staff safety. The Port and ferry operators will now continue to work together to ensure that services are running with minimal disruption.
Passengers are advised to check with their ferry operator before travelling and consult the Port of Dover website (www.doverport.co.uk) or Twitter account (@PoD_travelnews). Please note that there may be initial delays to services as they resume.
