Raft Race Registration Opens for Port of Dover Regatta
After two years of pandemic restrictions, the Port of Dover Regatta will be returning on Saturday 6th August 2022. Throughout the day there will be a mix of both shoreside and waterside entertainment, providing fun for all ages across the community.
This year’s event also sees the return of the Community Raft Race, with entry open to all. This is a chance to test your boatmanship by entering a homemade raft into the race and helping to raise funds for our soon-to-be-announced charity partners.
How to enter?
Teams must be made up of 6 people, all aged 18+.Rafts to be no bigger than 4m in length and 2m wide.Teams must sit on the rafts, not in them.Rafts must be propelled by paddles only.Rafts must be created using sustainable materials.Payment is required 2 weeks prior to the event.
