We look forward to welcoming everyone travelling via the Port for the second Summer Getaway weekend, with traffic volumes expected to reach peak levels once again.

Last weekend (Friday 19^th to Sunday 21^st), we got just under 100,000 passengers on their way to Europe, ensuring they started their holiday with a smooth journey through the Port.

We thank our customers and local community for following the advice given and traffic management processes, and our partners for putting in extra operational measures.

The following procedures were a success, and will be important again this weekend:

• Additional booths were added at the Border, with Police Aux Frontières (PAF) providing extra resource and processing well.
• Customers arrived no more than 2 hours before their booked sailing.
• People stuck to main roads and directions when travelling to the Port and Town.
• Freight drivers received their permit at the beginning of Operation Brock on the M20.

*On Friday 26^th July from 07.00 to 23.59, the Boatyard facility will be in operation for coaches to complete API checks before travelling to the Ferry Terminal.
