Port of Dover Cargo is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Robb as Business Development Manager, focusing on the perishable sector.

Tom brings a wealth of experience in commercial account management and customer-driven growth within the fresh produce sector and perishables sectors. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving commercial expansion across the perishables supply chain, strengthening relationships with existing and new partners, and enhancing the Port’s position as a premier destination for perishable cargo import and export. Tom will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions for growers, importers, retailers, shipping lines and logistics providers.

The perishables division at Port of Dover Cargo Ltd has fast become a cornerstone of its operations, supported by world-class temperature-controlled vessel operations, storage and logistics facilities, and it is about to embark on the next phase of growth with its new port development.

The Port handles substantial volumes of fresh produce and temperature-sensitive goods, offering a strategic link between global supply chains and UK markets. Recent industry recognitions and accreditations highlight the company’s commitment to excellence in handling perishable goods across its cargo platform.
