Port of Dover Cargo is pleased to announce the renewal of its contract with DC Aggregates for a further seven years, reinforcing a long-standing partnership that continues to support the local and regional economy across Dover and Kent.

DC Aggregates’ operations through the Port of Dover play a vital role in supplying essential construction materials to the area, helping to sustain local infrastructure projects, employment, and economic growth. The renewed agreement reflects the strength of the relationship between the two organisations and their shared commitment to efficiency, reliability, and regional development.

The Port of Dover provides DC Aggregates with a fast and efficient one-stop-shop service, offering streamlined vessel discharge alongside on-site storage solutions. This integrated approach enables aggregates to move swiftly through the port, ensuring continuity of supply to customers while minimising turnaround times.

Richard Dunn, Commercial Manager at DC Aggregates, said “We have been working closely with the Port of Dover Cargo team since we imported the first aggregate cargo in 2020 and are delighted to have renewed this contract for a further seven years. This provides a strategic platform enabling us to supply construction projects within the Port of Dover and the wider Kent area with aggregates from our Norwegian quarries and marine gravel dredging operations.”
