It should also be noted that a parking permit, is not valid in the Ports Eastern Docks Taxi Rank – unless actually stated. GXS Services manage all car parks within the DHBs (Dover Harbour Board) covering the Eastern and Western Docks and Waterfront areas.
Port of Dover Waterfront public parking charges are:
Up to one hour £2.00
The second hour £2.00
Then £1.90 per hour thereafter up to a maximum of 8 hours
£25.00 up to 24hrs – 24 hrs max stay (weekends only at Harbour House)
Short stay at Entrance to Eastern Docks (30 minute grace period at commencement to remain in place)
£2.00 per hour up to a maximum of 2 hours
There are many spaces allocated to Blue Badge holders throughout Port owned car parks, which have wider bays for more convenient access, and also street parking for Blue Badge Holders remains on the seafront, which is still managed by Dover District Council. Please note that payment is required for the use of the wider bays due to being on private land.
